This spring, Plunky & Oneness bring their signature blend of jazz, funk, and Afrocentric rhythm to one of Richmond’s most iconic landmarks: Main Street Station. Set against the historic backdrop of the station’s outdoor space, the performance turns a civic landmark into a living cultural stage - where music, place, and community meet.
For over five decades, J. Plunky Branch has been a defining voice in Richmond’s music landscape, weaving together jazz, funk, go-go, and global rhythm into a sound rooted in Black musical tradition and forward-moving expression.
